WW2: When Britain stood (not quite) alone

Here we see the progressives in Britain rewriting history to fit their narrative just as they do here in America. And yes, Churchill "dreamed" of a united Europe, one that would put aside its tribal wars, but he also feared socialism well understanding its false promises. Had he realized that a united Europe would become a bureaucratic nightmare, I'm willing to bet that he would have stuck by Britain's traditional strategy of maintaining an armed force that needed but one European ally to subdue any tyrant who might arise in any other European nation such as Germany.
