MSG (Join to see) Well, having been acquitted by a jury, I say let her get back to work and hopefully all involved will learn from the matter. I gotta say that I did tell two overweight troops some hard facts in my days. One told me she had lost 40 pounds, when she clearly had lost nothing, and I told her "you didn't lose it, you misplaced it. Look behind you", and another said she couldn't figure out why she never lost weight, and I said "its clear to anyone looking, that you have a verifiable medical condition. Every time you elbow bends, your mouth flies open". Not sure I could get away with that today...

I have no issue with the supposed actions, sometimes tough love is necessary. What I have issue with is the blatant double standard at play. Had this been a male NCO, he most likely would have be drummed out of the Army.
