New Congresswoman-elect Ilhan Omar is now facing some backlash for a tweet that she made which many see as mocking Vice President Mike Pence’s Christian faith.
Pence was attacked by some on the left for his posture during the meeting that President Donald Trump had with House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) about the border wall. Trump completely dunked on them, opening it up to the press and forcing them to admit on camera they weren’t concerned about border security. Democrats were left high and dry and Democrats had nothing left but to try and go mock Pence.
The Minnesota Democrat joined in, but she took it a step further by mocking his faith with a tweet saying “Jesus take the wheel! #BorderWall”
