A privately-owned vintage World War II Mustang fighter airplane that had participated in a flyover for a museum event crashed into the parking lot of a Texas apartment complex Saturday, killing the pilot and a passenger, authorities said.

I remember reading that those vintage planes they had in the movie Dunkirk are old and they couldn't really do very stressful turns because they thought the plains of fall apart and crash.

I'm sure when the pilots originally flew the P-51 Mustang they had the proper respect for it. After almost 70 years of the jet age. I bet it would be tough to go back and have the proper respect for a P-51 Mustang. Pretty bird nevertheless and I'd love to fly in one
