Bought and played this once about a year and half ago. Wanted to get some more insight into the war. Haven't yet read the book of the same name. It's complicated (think wargaming + intramural accounting). One of the designers, Volko Ruhnke, has done a number of such games that deal with insurgencies and an irregular component to warfare and conflict, covering Iraq, Afghanistan, and Colombia in other games.
