Never tried any of their products but have read some reviews. Anyone here using any Vortex ?

I have a Viper PST Gen II on top of a savage 110.. It has held up to the heavy recoil and an occasionally misguided bang against something so far.
For Red Dot on top of an AR, I just can not bring myself to put anything but an Aimpoint on it......It just feels right, I know the device intimately..anything else is a distraction.

My other heaver hitter a Kimber rifle in .338 Win MAG has eaten one scope so far....(Burris) so i might try a Vortex Optics Viper 6.5-20x50 PA SFP Riflescope Mil-Dot MOA

CW5 Jack Cardwell - The Viper is not their top of the line, but I got it on a great deal with a rifle, then transfered it to my 110... So it also has wear/shock of a few hundred rounds of .308

I like Vortex. Use an EBR-556 on my AR. Several of my friend's use Vortex optics for their rifles as well from red dots to scopes. Lifetime no question asked warranty.

I use a Holosun Red not on my AK47 (Century). It does a very god job for me and was pretty inexpensive. AK iron sights are not great especially for older eyes. I've not used a Vortex but that is a pretty aggressive price.

Ruger version of the AR-10, .308, 7.62 NATO. I carried the "Pig". I have several long guns in the .3xx calibers. All have Vortex mounted on them.
