Like the saying goes, We were sprayed and betrayed in Vietnam. Agent Orange has 14 different kinds of cancer that the VA will pay benefits for. Just realize we have lost over 300,000 due to Agent Orange. I buried a Brother two weeks ago that suffered with it for nine years. SEMPER FI

I am sorry for your loss; but I am quite familiar with it. Blue Water Vets that are still living are now suffering the consequences of both AO AND asbestos. One of these Vets is a RP Member and close friend.

What I get pissed at is the denial for so long I understand why they sprayed to deny cover as Zumwalt after his son died from AO. Do think I would have allowed knowing my son was going to die from it. Maybe the chemical companies knew. We weren't only sprayed we drank the water off the ground puddles. Just throw some iodine in shake and wait 15 minutes if that long. So many guys died before they admitted it effected us !

I remember , more than 30 years ago, supporting my new husband who was loosing his teeth and bone from his jaws. He had been Marine Air Corp very late in the war, and had flown hundreds of missions to drop AO. Even in the 70's we knew what AO did to someone. Little did he know the AC carrier he was returning to was most likely full of asbestos too. I understand your anger.

Please do. Whereas I think it is "criminal", we need a solid base ; a war cry, in order for me to take it to committee. Thank you for your efforts !
