I have always thought that The Feres doctrine is BS. There is slot of incompetence in DOD that never gets addressed because of that rule.

That is my personal thoughts on this also, have seen the incompetence firsthand in the past, but there is no real need to address it because of this doctrine.

Even though her claim will go nowhere, she has to have the government deny it so that she can go forward and process this senseless act. She has personally suffered and her superiors have not been held accountable for their non-actions. That is the crux of her argument.
