According to the Bureau of Labor statistics, there are 16,900 post secondary law teachers. 2400 is only 14.5% of that 16,900.
2400 LOOKS like a large number, but when compared to the whole it’s an insignificant sliver.

If we knew the rest of them are in support of his nomination, your point would be valid. But we have no idea what the other 14,500 think about it. I would think most people in those roles would prefer to stay out of the politics of it.......that doesn't mean they don't think the same way as those who step forward with an opinion. How many of this population signed a letter of support for the nomination? Any?

SSgt Gary Andrews not know what the other 86% think doesn’t make my statement any less valid. We’re talking about a specific number from a specific demographic. That specific number is a sliver of that specific demographic.

That's the last thing that might influence me. Indeed, the number of law professors who signed is much lower than I would expect. After all, the Left has infiltrated and indoctrinated our academics to such a degree, I would expect that every damn law professor would sign the petition in blood

So, if I get 5000 victims of SA that think he should be confirmed, does that trump (ha ha) your 2400 lawyers? The fact that there are 2400 lawyers that don't understand due process and our judicial system is utterly terrifying.
