We have lost a great warrior (Retired O-6 USN), Senator John McCain. Here he puts the heat on a USAF General on the demerits of the F-35 vs the A-10. Now we only have Congresswoman Martha McSally(Former A-10 Pilot and Squadron Commander with CAS combat experience) to defend against the USAF putting them all at Davis-Montham in favor of the Junk Strike Fighter. RIP. We have lost a great friend in Congress who defended a COL friend who had to testify and get grilled by then-Senator John Kerry who was a jerk to my friend when he testified. Senator John McCain coached him to not get baited by Senator Kerry. This hearing was over searching for missing or left-behind POWs in Vietnam. This hearing was in the early 1990s. RIP Senator McCain!

Rest in peace naval officer captain and senator John McCain! Hopefully, with his passing, we can still keep the fight in to prevent the F-35 from grounding all the A-10 Warthogs!
