Me thinks Zuck is trying to recover some of the stock hit they took last week. I have been a social media manager, and have created numerous "fake" profiles. There is no vetting process whatsoever. This sounds more like he is trying to find a bogeyman to prove that he is doing something. The board is looking to boot his butt, and he is one arrogant guy anyway. Again, it comes down to who should be the fair body that decides what is fake and what is not... It would probably be better to teach people how to spot fake stuff. They have a very very bad history of banning people and groups they don't agree with. I ran 2 similar pages. One Democrat and one Republican. Ran the same articles, did the same interactions, but the Republican one was shut down....

I recently took a meme from a Liberal FB page and changed the word Republicans to Democrats. I got informed that my meme was removed because it did not comply with the standards expected of posts on Facebook.
I appealed and told them the FB page where I had copied the original meme - I have not yet heard back from 'the censors'.

SFC Ralph E Kelley - That's why his congressional hearing was a farce. This happens every day. I firmly believe that he will be out within a year.

FaceBook is doing more than the Trump Administration when it comes to stamping out propaganda and foreign information operations over cyberspace.
