She had to read about 30 pages every night, analyze documents, write essays and take lots of tests to prepare for the big exam. After she took it, she went online to look at the website for the College Board — the nonprofit that runs the advanced placement curriculum and exam — and saw an announcement that AP world history was going to change. Starting in the 2019-2020 school year, the class materials would begin in 1450.

That is totally wack, history began when man first drew it on cave walls.

I can see this if you're a history major and you wanted to specialize on some aspect of History. But just for the average Joe Schmo, they need to learn everything. Just think before 1450. No description of early man, early civilizations like Sumerians, Babylonians, Greeks, Persians and nothing about early China. No Roman Empire, no Christianity Beginnings, no Egypt, no descriptions of mesoamerica, no Incas, no Aztecs except after 1492. It does not make sense to me and I am a history buff!
