Justin Trudeau adding more Canadian troops in Latvia, extending mission

In May, I had the honor to participate in Operation Maple Resolve. This is Canada's biggest exercise and it was validating those 450 soldiers that were going to Latvia to replace those that were about to come home back to Canada. 1200 American soldiers participated including a Regional Support Group or Logistics Brigade Headquarters( from the USAR) that had Administrative Control over the American forces About four to five thousand Canadian troops participated from all over Canada including french-speaking units. The exercise was at Camp Wainwright, Alberta. 4th Brigade, 25th Infantry Division out of Alaska also participated. United States Lieutenant Generals Luckey and Buchanan came to observe this exercise. I was one of the Observer/ Controller Trainer coordinators and I had 15 others like me assigned to Army Reserve units participating in this exercise.
