Thank you for helping me understand. President Trump's (notice that the media will not use "President" in conjunction with his name - disrespectful?) incompetence is based on his refusal to support/enforce/go along with popular opinions. Got it...

Capt Dwayne Conyers - I keep hearing that but I don't see it. Honestly. I can argue with a Republican/conservative (they're not always the same thing) and never end up in a hostile situation. I can't even argue or debate with a Democrat/Leftist without it devolving into a shouting match. In fact, my wife forbids me to respond to family members (we're Jewish and almost everyone else in the family is a Democrat and/or Leftist. They taunt and insult me because they know I am not one of them, and I must not respond. BTW, I have never used any permutation of President Obama's name, such as "Obummer", and indeed have explained to others why they shouldn''t. I always refer to him appropriately and ask that others do the same (also with President Trump). Yes, I believe that President Obama was ill prepared for office. I expected nothing and saw nothing to indicate that he learned while in office. I didn't expect much of President Trump, either. I didn't vote for him exactly. I voted for "Not-Hillary". He had no government experience, though he did have executive experience. I was hopeful. President Trump was successful in business and entertainment because he evinced a talent for learning and adapting. Thus far, he seems to be growing into the job faster than most I've witnessed over my rather lengthy adult life. So there you have it. Watch how I am set upon for what many will consider a defense of President Trump...

CPT Jack Durish just wondering one thing. Captain Jack.....how many bankruptcies, business closures, law suits, and settlements paid out, can a person have and still be considered a "successful " businessman in your view?

Maj John Bell those are nice quotes.......but I don't see how they apply to the actions that Trump took in the business world. Using undocumented Polish workers in a building project, then threatening to turn them in rather than pay them.... stiffing contractors......running a university that was a total scam... .those actions don't match what your quotes are talking about.

If the article was true. Much better to have a President in the Oval Office that attempts to make an effort in all the areas of our country that need to be fixed. Versus the former example that largely did nothing of substance for 8 years and was completely satisfied with 1.5% GDP growth while it robbed the poor and elderly of hope.

Capt Dwayne Conyers the media negativity for President Trump is far more than for former President Obama. As for Obumma, that was a FB thing, not a media name calling situation. There have been studies by Accuracy in Media and others showing the negativity toward Trump is far and away above that to Obama.

Not just FB Lt Col Charlie Brown. I've seen it here. 44 and 45 have a lot in common.
