COL Mikel J. Burroughs "We Ride To Restore Hope Day" Why? Because nothing sinks, or lifts up the soul as the loss or restoration of one's hope. There is no fountain of youth, no freedom from physical and emotional scares or the undoing of wars. But . . . but . . . . but there is the restoration of hope, that the down and out matter, that they are of value to society, that they are needed, every single one. That they make a difference, that just a smile, a handshake, a warm caring hello, is all that is needed to change the life of one soul and then the world. Say a kind word, whether earned or not, offer two ears and then listen. Offer the Restoration of Hope and your faith too will soar.
