I've used the old style before, which can be tricky, especially in close quarters. The "overstretching limiter" is a clever addition which prevents the "heavy-handed mechanic in a hurry" from a botched removal - and even worse - a botched installation - which leads to mechanical failure and possible mishap - down the road. Thumbs up!

CW5 Jack Cardwell – I'd never heard of "circlip pliers" until a few minutes ago, Chief. In my opinion, my best RP share-posts are the one's that teach me a thing or two—especially about tools. Circlip pliers weren't standard issue in my Handy Andy tool kit when I was a kid. Defensor Fortis! https://www.ebay.com/i/ [login to see] 52?chn=ps
