US soldier killed in Somalia firefight

Wayne it is a dark day for the US military but especially for Special Forces, RIP brother thank you for your service and sacrifice

I know a couple of guys that were in Mogadishu Somalia when we had the "black hawk down" incident. After my accident SOF assigned a guy to me to make sure everything was going the right direction in my recovery. After talking to him a few times he told me he had been there and was wounded. Apparently he was a Ranger and was shot in the thigh and the round exited his butt cheek. He is very lucky that round did not clip and an artery or was not a little higher.
