Question when did you serve on the "Golden Grizzly", because I saw the plague from the "USS California CGN 36 - First Class Mess" on one of your pages. I served two tours on her, first one was March 1978 to March 1981 and the second one was from Dec 1986 to July 1991". I left as an "E-6" and my rate was a "Gunners Mate Missile" and I worked in both the forward and aft missile launchers.

my dad was a Tin Can sailor. He was a TMC on the USS Ringgild DD500 during WWII, served on a DE during the Korean War then retired in 1959.
