This is a wonderful group of topics for today's motivational quotes. My favorite Czech writer wrote an interesting thought that makes me think of your topics.

“Dogs are our link to paradise. They don't know evil or jealousy or discontent. To sit with a dog on a hillside on a glorious afternoon is to be back in Eden, where doing nothing was not boring--it was peace.”
― Milan Kundera

The love of a dog brings us peace and an understanding of paradise. Just the simple things bring it altogether.

I have always felt that way about my dogs over the years SGT Reynolds. Had pups around since I was a Toddler. Adopted a stray in Japan and left it in good hands when I shipped back to the world. I like that Kundera person. LOL

Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen - I agree! This might be a mean thing to say, but dogs are better company than some people I know.

Happy Monday! These quotes are a great start to the week, especially yours. I have given clients this assignment: write down 5 things each day they are grateful for. It always works when we focus on the good thing in our lives. Have a great week everyone!

I do something similar with clients. With the kids I do a gratitude jar. One thing each day on a slip of paper. Review by pulling some at random when you're having a bad day

PO3 Bob McCord - Surely focuses on a better night. One day I was having myself a pity party--many years ago when I lived in DC. It was a beautiful sunshiny morning on my way to work. I was praying to God why my life wasn't working and why were the things happening to me that were at the time. I looked to my left, and there was a woman on the sidewalk. She was out taking a walk in the sun, happy as could be. She had no arms. I said "Thank you God--I get it, and now I will shut up."
