Convalescents arrive at an evacuation station. Gen. Pershing addresses 1st Div. officers at Fontaine. 26th Inf., 2nd Field Signal Bn., and artillery units march toward the front near Haudivillers. Horses forage and men draw rations near Bonvillers. Shows activity in a field kitchen.

Kind of interesting watching films of WWI and seeing how far Military technology and equipment has come from that time period. Seems it was a transition time into more modern warfare and You see both trucks and mule pulled wagons both in action together. Horses still in use on the battlefield. Your posting accessed quite a few WWI films. A good lesson is History seeing the troops up close during the War to end all Wars. (Guess that part didn't work out) Thank You for making it possible to see these films of our Military past.

Interesting to note that the RL-39 and the DR-8 really has not changed much in a hundred years.
