An ‘Unspeakable’ Way to Return the Republic to the People

The Speaker of the House is an unspeakably powerful position, one that the current occupant has used poorly, very poorly. Yes, it is "possible" to elect a Speaker who is not a member of the House, but I can't even begin to imagine how that might occur inasmuch as the Speaker is chosen by the members of the House, each with a burning desire for the power.

Sounds like a workable option except it will never fly. Besides the Speaker being in control and carrying out his Party objectives, he is third in line of succession to POTUS behind the VPOTUS.
