If we ended up in a war with Russia or China or perhaps others their ability to squelch or eliminate GPS on the battlefield will be very real. Going away from teaching land navigation, map reading, and targeting acquisition without GPS and other technology was a major mistake. Glad they are correcting it.

You are absolutely correct, we should always be ready to use the technology that God put between our ears due to the failures that can be introduced to man made technological advances.

Excuse me, I was Artillerry Fire Direction before we had hand calculators. Pencils and pins.
in fact I taught it for a while. The hardest part is finding soldiers who understand what is needed to hit a target twelve miles away.
