Mueller is poking the bear in hopes he reacts. It looks like the Russia narrative is dead and now the Left is searching for anything that can get them information to help them in prep for the 2020 elections.

LCDR (Join to see) SPC Erich Guenther I was thinking that I had heard that he was a Democrat, any way, he was also the Director of the FBI 2001 till 2013. Now I just have to wonder how many FISA warrants he ram roaded with little to no information on what was credible evidence or fabricated evidence. He hasn't found out anything by now so what's he looking for.

LCDR (Join to see) - There are Republicans and then there are Republicans. Same can be said of the Democrats. Many in the GOP, especially among its leadership, can't reconcile themselves to President Trump. Many fear that his presence in the White House harms the party and they will do anything to disassociate themselves (as many did during the 2016 elections). Furthermore, any attempt to stop Mueller will be interpreted as a coverup. So, let Mueller continue his circus and we'll just have to wait and see what happens.

"Let's not Indulge in conspiracy fantasies"- that is the best comment yet. But you'd have us believe that somehow a guy that's been on television for 10+ years somehow is now a double agent working with a foreign government to somehow steal an election. That sounds so plausible.

GySgt John Olson - Actually your analogy is incorrrect. Because this cuts into attorney client privelege IT IS NOT A NORMAL RAID as you implied. In that the investigators have to use a team of lawyers to review what is found and only items that are deemed "tainted" by a potential crime by Mr Cohen can be seized and reviewed by the investigation team. The other stuff the investigation team cannot look at. If they do not follow those rules THEN ANYTHING THEY SIEZE will be thrown out as evidence and any attorney that crosses the lines of those rules can be subject to disbarment. So we will see if they follow the existing rules. Chances are they won't since this as mentioned before is largely political. If they do not follow the rules you have a serious Constitutional Rights issue here.

There is the Crime / Fraud Exception , when an attorney and his or her client use communications to commit or further a crime .

I hadn't thought of that. Thanks SGT Lou Meza. My question is how without knowledge of a specific information is this another FISA use to gain that knowledgeable information used. Or Maybe the Special Counsel, looking well beyond the scope of their probe into Russia colluding.

Special Counsel Mueller while conducting an investigation of collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russians may have uncover evidence of a crime by Michael Cohen . Law enforcement officers are required report all crimes and cannot turn a blind eye to that crime . Mueller had to consult with Rosenstein on how to handle that situation. The US attorney for the southern district of New York was notified and it had to be the US attorney who ordered the search warrants . A judge would then sign off on the warrants if the judge agreed that there was enough evidence to issue the warrants.

Yepper CW5 Jack Cardwell and now the FBI does a no knock warrant to raid an attorney office. I have only heard of that with drug dens when they are afraid of weapons are thought to be there and want to shock the occupants there by giving LEO's the upper hand. SSgt Michelle Chadwick
