Colonel Bohanon did exactly the right thing. He is entitled to the same RIGHTS as the airman. As this idiot, Weinstein pointed out (glazed over), Air Force Instruction 1-1, sec 2.12 states "leaders at all levels must BALANCE constitutional protections for their own free exercise of religion". He did "balance" them and the Airman got his letter of appreciation (signed by a more senior officer). This is just another BS law suit of an individual trying to make money and a point! Pisses me off!!!

Clearly the AF mentality, as usual, is out of place with the rest of DOD. That’s why I am a big proponent of kicking the AF out of DOD. The rest of DOD understands the responsibility of command much different than the AF.

He was following his religious beliefs, and did do the right thing by having the certificate signed by other then himself.

I’m still kinda surprised in this day and age, and how liberal and PC everyone seems to be.

CSM Eric Biggs - I believe we are being to liberal and way to much PC. The PC has been carried to the MAX and beyond but in the long run everyone isn't going to get every small thing they want. I never saw the big deal in this anyway.

I'm sure our female colleagues may differ with your assessment. I know I do. If you need help getting that foot out of your mouth, give me a shout.
