Absolutely correct Sir, perhaps the best response you might get today will not be shared on RP but will be shared by those of us who have read your post and picked up the telephone.
Lives may very well be saved by today’s motivational quote.

Thanks for sharing my friend COL Mikel J. Burroughs. Since you mentioned Call a Friend I think you would be interested that our friend's SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL has his 48th birthday anniversary today.
I am getting ready to go bed soon but I wanted to respond.
Since I am living with my mother-in-law,I try to limit my time on the phone so it is generally free for her.
I generally try to email my friends as opposed to calling.
I prefer written communication because I can look at it when I want to. As I age my memory of phone conversations is much less than perfect :-)
I learned from my parents that writing letters and sending thank you notes is best.

1, I am not surprised that Marlene Dietrich would state "It's the friends you can call up at 4 a.m. that matter." She was a "party animal n\back in the day :-)
2. I expect that most people would appreciate the thoughts of Rebecca press "No matter how busy someone is, if they love you and care they will find a way to make time for you. Even the smallest text message or quickest phone call can say a thousand words."
3. In this day and age it is interesting that Allan Urlis thinks "The worst thing to do is not make a telephone call." For those waiting for a phone call I expect this is true :-)

Great Sunday thoughts COL Mikel J. Burroughs I have made it a point to stay in touch with friends the last few years. There is a reason God put them in your lives. Each person helps you deal with life and all it can throw at you. You could also insert your mom for friend. I call my mom everyday- she was my first and longest best friend.
