Look at the question - "Do you believe your father's accusers?"
First of all it is not a simple question as Mr.Cillizza propounds. His exception is part of his (Mr. Cillizza's) problem with the analysis. Now if the question had been "Do you believe President Trump's accusers?," he may have actually had a valid point; but that was not the question. Was it phrased this way on purpose or was it an innocent mistake by Mr. Alexander (a major NBC newsperson)? At that level, it should not be an innocent mistake.
Secondly, if this is their take (CNN's) on the reply, then they appear to be hypocritical in that they would not mention why nepotism would be an excellent reason not to support a political campaign for the office of President by the spouse of a former President such as Hillary Clinton or as has been proposed Michelle Obama.
Could they not also see why it is also a non-sequitur when they (the news media) and elected Democrat politicians state that it does not matter about the wife of Andrew McCabe receiving some of the donations that she did; and other such perceived shenanigans within the Russia interference investigations? (Rhetorical question/statement.)

Is it? This is the continuation of the Democrat MSM mouthpiece to separate female (and their beta male partners) voters from thinking about the current administration in any positive manner. Look around, market is up which effects investments, employment is going down, etc. if we created a dashboard of indicators everything is going against the Dem/MSM narrative. So what is the tactic. Daily barrages of dire news. There were 30 WIA and 8 KIA in Chicago over the weekend in the strictest gun control area in America. Not on Breaking CNN News. But what was? A male ice skater that had to explain his sexual orientation to the world was decrying the VP. So lines of effort: Trump devalues women, His daughter is evil, VP is evil. Recycle that every 4 hours. Some will buy it and others will see through it. But I don't think it's interesting analysis. It's propaganda to add cover for the espionage committed by the previous administration.

It is, because they (the MSM) do not believe that the American people can see behind the propaganda and BS. It is also interesting to see how these people twist the English language so much with their spin-doctoring and (like you said - and I agree) propaganda.

SSG Robert Webster It's not that they don't believe the American people can see behind the propaganda and BS; its' that they know that MOST of America actually believes the propaganda and BS. Americans have been conditioned from an early age to believe what they see on television and what our government tells them.
