SGT (Join to see) my heart dropped to see these images. I don't know what I expected, but this looked like a homeless settlement just outside of a neighborhood community. I was homeless for just about 1 year when my son was a toddler and we were back and forth between a shelter, my mom's living room floor, and a cheap roach motel. I hope this gets to the new administration. I hope Mr. Trump's policies are looking at this new rising great America's subcultures that are also rising.

PO3 Phyllis Maynard, Thank you so much ma’am for your contribution to this post. I too drifted from hole to hole while trying to get over a divorce back in 70’s. Good Bless you for making it. When I see something like this, it makes me sick to my stomach.

That's what California wanted, SGT (Join to see), so that's what California got.

SGT Keith Bodine - granted, CA has a very large economy. That’s why it’s a contradiction that a state this “wealthy” has such a high level of poverty in the state. The state has 32% of the nations welfare. One third of the state’s population is on MediCal (poverty level health insurance). It’s becoming more apparent that to survive in the state, you have to ultra rich, or poor (for all the subsidies). The middle class is being squeezed.

Apparently tent sales are good. Can't say much for trash collection and have to wonder about sanitation.

Don’t you know it stinks along that stretch of road. I don’t know how the property owners can put up with it.
