The more I see interviews from that host family the more I wonder how much did they actually know and if they're lying. If they aren't lying and said "we had no idea but everyone else did"they are the most naive people in the world.
The dad says "I think he had five or six guns." Interviewer (in another article) says "you let him in your house and you didn't know how many guns he had?" "Well I think five or six. I know he had a rifle." And says "it's his right to have a AR-15."
These people can't be this naive or stupid. I would never let someone in my house who had a troubled past and has guns. I would definitely not store them in the house. I would make sure there were no other copies of keys.
At first I was like don't blame these people but how is it EVERYONE else around this guy knew he was f*ed in the head but they ddin't seei t? C'mon.

Exactly - makes you wonder if they should charge the student who knew if she told no one - sounds like a breakdown in society.

Why charge her if she didn't tell? Maybe she was scared of him if she didn't. Maybe he threatened her. But we don't know if she told anyone or not so we can't start throwing out "arrest people."

SFC Kelly Fuerhoff - Well if you look at my question you will find I said "Makes you wonder if they should"; not "they should"
