The sad thing is that the media puts this crap out there and there are uneducated people out there that believe that the BS is fact.

Sigh...OK, gotta admit, that was pretty stupid on hismoart, obviously...see, here's the thing: First, aside from the fact that I couldn't care less about sports stuff, for the most part, with a very few exception, though that's entirely me, certainly, the basic problem is, whenever there's one of the Olympic things, inevitably, the relations of countries becomes inextricably intertwined, instead of just worry about the sport aspects. It's been that way ever since modern Olympic games started, and always will ne, that's the inherent limitation, they're all about sport, yeah, right, sure, like I still believe in the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy, and Santa Claus...he whole thing is a multinational corporate sports entity, firmly implanted in the psyche of every nation, so is one to be so unduly surprised at such a gaffe when it inevitably occurs? I rather think not, you know? Aside from that, as I'd said, it was pretty stupid, nonetheless...
