Thanks TSgt Joe C. for letting us know that on February 6, 1865 33-year-old Confederate General John Pegram, was killed at the Battle of Dabney’s Mill (also called Hatcher’s Run), Virginia.
Many soldiers were killed or died of disease during the siege of Petersburg during which the Battle of Dabney’s Mill was fought.
