There isn’t enough info here to draw a conclusion. Did the young lady show as pregnant, was she ruly or unruly, did she obey commands given by police, and finally what was it that put her in front of police to begin with. What has happened to the child (possibly as a result of the tasing) is horrible. What would have happens to an unwieldy teen being physically subdued by police, either way this goes wrong. Our police are trained in all sorts of scenarios, however there is no way to be prepared for everything. Every situation needs to be taken into context making determinations on facts at the time. No first responder intends to hurt anyone!

What did this young woman do to warrant an arrest, besides her apparent need to make a small issue into a big one. If she had just did what she was supposed to instead of having a melt down the Taser wouldn't be-needed. She hit the jackpot and NYC will pay no matter what, somehow she has zero responsibility even though she knew she was pregnant and went nuts anyway. Yeah I think she contributed to the issue either way.
