Good morning COL. This one hits me pretty hard. Every day is American Flag Day to me. The disrespect bestowed upon our Flag and our National Anthem is unacceptable....It is not just the Football Field either as we have all read in the papers and seen on the news, people from all walks of life think the American Flag is just a piece of cloth.....To me it is the cloth of a Nation, God Bless the U.S.A..........BTW, how much do I love our flag?...put your cursor over the logo and Picture at the top of the American Flag Page and you will have your answer.. Have a fine American Sunday...I haven't all year except for the playoff game in Foxboro, however I think I will watch the Patriots win back to backs this evening.Have a fine Sunday everyone

Alan K. - I'm working on getting a $300 remote control flag pole put up in my new yard, but I've got to get HOA permission (sad isn't it). I'll get there and I'll send you a picture brother. Ditto on everything you said above. It means everything to me and what I served 37 years for from age 17 and what I continue to serve my veterans for Alan! God Bless the USA!

COL Mikel J. Burroughs - Nice, remote control...? Gotta' check that out. I want to build a custom one and that may be an option.

I have a 30' telescoping flagpole in my front yard. After many attempts to find solar lights that would illuminate it properly, I found one that looks like a small flying saucer, that fits on top and replaces the top ball. The top of the disc collects the sun, and there are about five LEDs that project downward, and light it up well ! Mine was the first flagpole of any kind in the development, and now they are starting to appear everywhere. Incidentally I fly a US Army flag beneath the American flag, and this summer, a fellow down the street erected a pole, and flies a USMC flag. We ride each other good-hardily, but we are the only proud brother vets in the community.
