Surprisingly good. President Trump has surprised me a lot (which says something about the level of my expectations)

I appreciated that he used "we" and "our" a lot more than "I" and "mine" like the last guy in office.

I am very thankful SSG(P) (Join to see) that President Donald Trump
President Trump claimed there has never been a better time to start living the American dream, and outlined other successes during his first address to congress in nearly a year.
Throughout Tuesday’s State of the Union address, the president stressed economic issues. He discussed the importance of the recently-passed tax bill, record lows in unemployment, and new highs in workforce participation rates.
"Since we passed tax cuts, roughly 3 million workers have already gotten tax cut bonuses. Many of them thousands of dollars per worker.” The President said. “That’s getting more every month, every week. Apple has just announced it plans to invest a total of $350 billion in America, and hire another 20,000 workers.”
He claimed more than 2 million jobs have been created since his 2016 election victory, citing rapid small business and middle class growth.
Also reaffirmed were the administration’s four major priorities on immigration reform. The President called for stepped-up border security, along with an end to chain migration and the diversity visa lottery.
On so-called DACA recipients he showed support for a permanent solution, but only if congress approves the construction of a wall along the nation’s southern border.
“Tonight, I am calling on the Congress to finally close the deadly loopholes that have allowed MS-13, and other criminals, to break into our country.” He said as he acknowledged families whose children were killed by the gang in the audience. “We have proposed new legislation that will fix our immigration laws, and support our ICE and Border Patrol Agents, so that this cannot ever happen again.”
Pivoting to his infrastructure proposal, The President pushed a message of unity as he laid out a plan to repair roads, bridges, and airports across the country. He called on congress to produce a $1 trillion bill.
Besides approving the funds, reforms to the permitting process will also be targeted, according to the president.
Next, he outlined the importance of fair and reciprocal trade with other countries.
“Our nation has lost its wealth, but we’re getting it back so fast. The era of economic surrender is totally over.” The President said. “From now on, we expect trading relationships to be fair and, very importantly, reciprocal.”
The President claimed he will continue to work on fixing bad trade agreements, while also negotiating new deals, which he’s promised will restore the nation’s strength and standing abroad.
Continuing on foreign policy, he praised the military for its progress in the battle against the Islamic State, now said to be nearly eliminated in Syria.
“I am proud to report that the coalition to defeat ISIS has liberated very close to 100 percent of the territory just recently held by these killers in Iraq and in Syria and in other locations, as well.” He said. “But there is much more work to be done. We will continue our fight until ISIS is defeated.”
President Trump concluded his address saying the United States will not fail as long as citizens have confidence in their values, faith in themselves, and trust in God. He added the nation will forever be safe, strong, proud, mighty, and free."
