Frankly, I'm with the lawyers that say Mr. Trump should avoid sworn testimony on the "Russia" affair. Nothing good will come of this:
-If he tells the truth the Liberal press won't believe him
-If he doesn't tell the truth, then he might commit a crime by lying to a federal investigator (see LTG Flynn scandal) and the liberal press will rejoice
-If he tells the truth and ends the interview with his famous "You're fired!" then he will be crucified in the media even though he has every right to fire Mueller under Article 2 of the Constitution
-If he doesn't tell the truth and fires Mueller, then he will still be crucified in the press and can still Constitutionally fire Mueller.
-Whether he tells the truth or not, the mere fact he stooped to grant an interview to Mueller will give the #witchhunt great credibility and hand the Democrats a talking point for the 2018 and 2020 elections.
-Everything the President says will be leaked to the media, especially if it is one syllable different from anything he may have told a federal office holder, reporter, or public appearance any time in the past leading to the inevitable question: "when were you lying, then or now?"
-The interview could blunder into areas the President doesn't want to discuss and shouldn't be required to discuss within the scope of the investigation, for example the finances of Trump Inc., the Trump family members, or his own finances for the last 10 years or so.

What many Americans don't seem to understand:
-The President has constitutional authority to run the Executive Department including hiring and firing employees of the various Departments and Agencies especially those that are appointed
-The President is expected to live under the laws of the US; protections of the 4th and 5th Amendments to the Constitution apply to the President as much as any other Citizen
-If (big IF) the President or a member of his Campaign or Transition Team did collude with representatives of a foreign government it isn't illegal under US law; release of classified information to foreign governments intentionally or unintentionally is a crime, Mrs. Clinton.
-The "deep state" or "swamp" is real. There is a large group of career civil servants, GS and SES, who are employees, not appointees, who are liberal to radical liberal in their political beliefs. They are willing to act on these beliefs within their work environments. They hate Donald Trump and all he stands for.

First, the "truth" must be determined. Not what you think, nor what I think. The actual truth. Until that is done, a cloud will remain over this administration.

I'm freakin losing my mind, all of you antiTrumpers, neverTrumpers or whatever you want to call yourselves, know d**n good and well this investigation is BS. Like him, hate him or p*** on him, this investigation needs to stop. Now I know all of you are intelligent or you wouldn't have been able to serve in the fields and capacities that you did. After all that has come out and all that has proven false(the dossier for example), how can any of you sit there with a straight face and say Trump is guilty. All this is doing is dividing us as a country.

Ever since the first colonists came here in the 1600's to escape the persecution, tyranny and class culture of Europe, we have been a country of diversity. Diverse in our ethnicity, race, religion and cultures, but we have always pulled together. Sure we have had our ups and downs as different peoples will. For the most part this country has stood together, look at WW1 and WW2.
However for the past 50+ years this country has slowly been eroding. There are those in this country that think we should be socialists(of course they have no idea what socialism really is), there are others who think we should be part of a one world society. I truly believe that the biggest part of this division can be laid at the foot of our liberal leaning bastions of higher learning, better known as Indoctrination centers. I believe that most Americans want this country to be the great country that it once was.
I have never been more disgusted with the people of this country as I am now. We have always had Presidents in this country that were not liked by all the people. Even Obama, who as President caused more division in this country, than any of his predecessors was never reviled as President Trump has been.
If we do not want to see this country destroyed we need to come together, put aside our differences, work to make this a great country again.
