She Asked for Help for Postpartum Depression. The Nurse Called the Cops Instead.

I did not realize we had such a problem. Obviously this woman was responsible and wanted help. Our healthcare system seems to be more reactive than proactive. Often our laws mandate that officials report, and that is not helpful to those who are self reporting their concerns. Sometimes the cure is worse than the condition.

Very sad and unacceptable at any level.

It is a sad state of affairs that was someone needs help they can’t get it my heart goes out to this young lady
