Did everyone clink on the 3 minute video? A strong message.
Anyone remember the 60's? Many of the remarks here are exactly the same as remarks about those protesting the Viet Nam war. Disrespectful, ant-American, treasonous. All incorrect. Our nation was founded on protest, that is why the 1st Amendment was added to the Constitution. Not as the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, but the FIRST!
Thankfully we still have the right to protest anything we wish, however we wish (within the law).

Evelyn Beatrice Hall
That says it all.

Exactly. I had no use for the anti-war protesters in the 60's......but I understood they had the right to protest. In looking back at it now, they were right about a lot of the things that troubled them about the war in Viet Nam. While many don't agree with taking a knee during the anthem as a form of protest.....we need to understand they have a right to do so. In future years, we may well look back and say they were right about what led to their actions. Great post, MSG.
