I find it sad that this is remarkable. Shouldn't we celebrate the athlete and not the skin color?

I saw four skaters and one was definitely skating fasters than the others. I'm proud she is an American and I am rooting for her to bring home the gold. Go U.S.A.!

And yes, it is an unfortunate truth that we still cannot get past skin color.
