Excellent blog. An important excerpt:
"And there is something else that separates us from an autocracy, and that’s truth. There is such a thing as objective truth. We can debate policies and issues, and we should. But those debates must be based on common facts rather than rather than raw appeals to emotion and fear through polarizing rhetoric and fabrications."
As a good man once said:
"You are entitled to your own opinion, but you are not entitled to your own facts."
We should all heed that.

Too bad she did not honor her own principles when given the chance. Instead of resigning she disobeyed a lawful executive order. I guess the principles she espouses only apply to others? or to times of her choosing?
