It's so nice to receive reassurances that you made the right decision. In this case, my vote against Hillary was one of the best I've ever made. Those of every rank on RallyPoint know that there is nothing worse than leaders who won't take responsibility for their decisions. President Obama never took responsibility. ("I didn't know anything until I read it in the paper." Yes, that Obama) And here's Hillary, placing blame on everyone and everything for her loss. Imagine if Harry Truman had placed a sign on his desk in the Oval Office that said, "The Buck Stops Somewhere Else"...

MSgt Kurt S. - The cowardice was very obviously implied, and the comment on being effeminate was overt. You're not interested in exchanging any sort of ideas or challenging anybody's viewpoint; you're just interested in maintaining your echo chamber and being an asshole to those who don't comply with it. The arrogance to assume you know anything about me is another tell.

LCDR (Join to see) - Okay. You have that backwards as well. The burden of proof rests on you. You made the assertion that President Trump is the "leader" or "boss" of the GOP in Congress. Prove it. I'll rely on the countless incidents during the election and following it during which the GOP actively sought to torpedo his election and then his agenda as prima facie evidence of my assertions.

Republican politicians aren't willing to overtly or even openly oppose him, because he was elected with some level of enthusiasm from Republican voters. The most obvious evidence of this is that when GOP senators or appointees decide to retire, they suddenly start saying whatever they want, which is something they knew they couldn't do if they were hoping to be reelected by their base. There are very few Republican voters who didn't vote for President Trump, and very few non-Republican voters who did. Whether the Mitch McConnells and Paul Ryans of the world like it or not has no bearing on its authenticity. The Republican voters belong to the President, and he's failed to sufficiently use that to his advantage in pushing his party into his proposed legislation.

I'll continue having a conversation with CPT Durish, as I originally intended, because though he and I will likely never agree on much of anything he is an intelligent man who's capable of making me rethink my positions and find supporting arguments. Debating the merits of a discussion with him has value. You, clearly, are trying as hard as possible to seem smarter than you are and your thinly-veiled attempt at the metaphorical mic-drop moment is laughable. You don't get to pretend you're not a dick or that you've won an argument with a you-get-the-last-word-or-else-the-other-person-loses ultimatum.
You're a jackass. You haven't contributed anything even remotely relevant or useful to the discussion. You entered into it with nothing but insults and insinuations, then acted like I'm the bad guy for calling you an asshole, which you very clearly are. You're exactly what's wrong with the old guard.

She does need to get off the stage.......she does none of us any good by getting out there and opening her mouth. Best to just ride into the sunset......

Let her stay on the stage, she's a great advertisement for the failings of the democrat party. If she were to run again in 2020, I won't care who runs against her, I'll vote against her again.

I agree. She is making it hard for other Democrats because she is controlling the narrative.

A year later and STILL blaming everyone else for her actions. I am so glad she did not get elected. I am glad Trump did but I would have settled for Sanders over her. I cant stand him but he would have been the seriously lesser of those two evils.
