I guess Duffel Blog gets to poke some fun at some pretty regular changes the Army has made on uniforms. It may not have been annual but was still too often. With tight budgets many of these changes are just a big waste of money. The Army does have company on this though with both the Navy and Air Force. It seems only the Marines haven't got out of control on this. The result a good looking presentable uniform that doesn't need to be changed and isn't even overdone with insignia and do dads. Even on camouflage, about the only uniform that had any change. they have actually used color that blend with nature, imagine that ! Seems also the Marines understand tradition and don't change just for the sake of change, if its not broken don't try to fix it ! Also if its not needed then don't spend money on it ! Although the post was satire I think it still points out a problem area.
