Enjoyed some of the comments in the story. I don't agree with using the anthem, but respect the right to protest. Considering the debate it was a target of opportunity, but I'm a traditionalist about things of that nature. It's too bad that it ended his career, and have wondered if he saw that possibility before acting. If so, it speaks to his conviction. If not, to his judgement. Thanks for sharing.

Kaepernick is being vilified because he is forcing the long overdue discussion America must have about race and slavery. Glad GQ can see through all the bs surrounding the message.
