A little off topic but something I've run into a couple times over the past few weeks. Seems folks forget that women also serve and retire from the military. I think recognizing the fact that they serve would be a good start.

Thanks for sharing PO1 Tony Holland. I attended USMA, West Point with the first class that included women as cadets. The best and brightest of this nation worked to make the process work and funds were poured in; but, the human element cause positive and negative actions which alternately helped or hurt those involved.
My women classmates are generally friends of mine to this day. We went through a very challenging four years together which helped to forge the friendships.

A girl from our high school named Graham (sp) was in that group. I remember it being a very big deal locally that she had been accepted as one of the first females to attend.
