I have met Star Parker and found her to be an intelligent and respectful spokesperson for her cause. It seems that some in Congress think that they are deserving of deference just because they were able to get themselves elected. If members of Congress feel "entitled" to special handling, it is because We the People haven't reminded them who they really represent. I had always opposed term limits because they seemed to me to represent an admission that We the People were simply incapable of voting intelligent, in our own best interests. Well, it seems were aren't capable, and we desperately need term limits to dispose of the clowns in Congress

I am not surprised at all that benighted democrat U.S. Rep. Steve Cohen of Tennessee verbally attacked Star Parker to his shame CPT Jack Durish.
It is despicable but expected that abortion for any reason supporters would behave like chicken little when ever anybody testifies against their sacred cow.
The fact that he "yelled at ... African-American [Star Parker] woman today, accusing her of “ignorance,” after she testified before a Congressional committee about abortion being the “leading cause of death in the black community today” speaks volume about him.
"Star Parker, founder and president of the Center for Urban Renewal and Education (CURE), suggested it’s disingenuous to conflate abortion with social ills. Parker was testifying before the House Judiciary Committee’s Subcommittee on the Constitution and Civil Justice as it discussed legislation banning abortions on babies with beating hearts."
