RB is exactly right. Not one person is telling these disrespectful assbags they can't protest. How about a lawyer trying to protest in the middle of opposing testimony during a trial. If that happened the protesting lawyer would be immediately sanctioned and possibly held in contempt. It is abput the right time and place vs.do what the fuck they wish. I for one absolutely think the credentials of #20 speaks tons more than a liberal attorney. Constitutional rights do not give any one person a right to do what the fuck they feel like anytime and any place.

Not challenging your comment but building on this part of it. "Constitutional rights do not give any one person a right to do what the fuck they feel like anytime and any place" ... at least not without consequences. Capt Gregory Prickett is right ... as far as he goes in his separate post. What wasn't said is that a protest is more than simply bringing "something to the attention of the majority." A true protest is intended to garner support on an issue and bring about change. When the manner of protesting is misguided and targeted against something that doesn't remotely link to the issue ... and ends up repelling more people than it attracts in support ... anyone with any intelligence will reconsider their method of protest. It is known colloquially as shooting oneself in the foot. That is precisely what the knee-takers are doing, in more ways than one.

LTC (Join to see) - I said from the onset that he made a rash decision by choosing this method of protest. It cost him his career, but I hear he may have a $1 million book deal.

Yes I can tell them they cannot when they are on my time and earning money on my payroll.

SPC Cody Voye- Why point this to the NFL Commissioner at all? Where have these SJW Football players been the past 5, 10, 15 years. Are the issues they are protesting new in America? No. Did inequality magically appear since Jan 20, 2017? This protest is pure Liberal made 100% bullstein made to be a political wedge issue against Trump. If these newly minted social warriors were really concerned with Minority issues then they would be on the ground at the point of the issue making their voices heard. But what do they do instead. Wait until a game day and then for about 2 minutes they take a knee to symbolize what exactly- nothing.

Capt Gregory Prickett - Is there an official statement from the NFL or from all those protesting as to the specific grievances?

It's amazing how uninformed you are. S.O.B 45th involved himself when he referred to the peaceful protesters mother's as bitches. He's creating the wedge, which is why he is called the Divider in Chief.

SSgt Ray Stone - Do you have the official statement from the NFL or the Players Union that states specifically why and what they are protesting? I missed where the President called the Mother's Bitches. Where is that cited in the news?

For all of you who think they have the right, you are wrong. The boss(owner) can fire at will anyone he wants to. This from the leading Constitutional lawyer and Harvard professor. The 1st amendment does not cover your workplace nor employer. If he tells you don't do it and you do, he can fire you.
