Thanks COL Mikel J. Burroughs for introducing us to LCDR Gordon Brown who leads the Team Veteran Foundation whose Wellness Clinics will help bring a permanent end to the 22-30 daily Veteran suicide epidemic.
FYI I had my first VA psychiatric appointment today for depression which I have struggled on and off with for 30 yeas or more. I used to self-medicate myself by drinking heavily which I stopped in the late 1980s.

What is Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT)?
Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) is breathing 100% medical grade (MG) oxygen under
increased atmospheric pressure while in either a single user (monoplace) or a multiple person
(multiplace) chamber. These chambers are used in the SCUBA diving industry for decompressing after a deep dive or when a diver has decompression sickness (bends). Atmospheres Absolute (ATA in HBOT) refers to a gauge pressure that is true regardless of location.
• 1.5 ATA equals 16 feet below the surface
• 2.0 ATA equals 33 feet below the surface
• 2.2 ATA equals 40 feet below the surface
• 2.5 ATA equals 50 feet below the surface Stem cell research

LCDR Gordon Brown
If you have been involved with multiple different therapies for the treatment of PTS and nothing seems to work, you may have a traumatic brain injury (TBI) and not PTS. Many of the symptoms of PTS and TBI are very closely related. I am a 15 year survivor of a near fatal TBI (I flat-lined twice post-op from grand mal seizures). So many Veterans have been misdiagnosed with PTS when they actually have a physical brain injury. Have you ever been told to "Get use to the new you?" Maybe you can get the original YOU back.
