I knew a 101st veteran of the Battle of the Bulge, William “Bill” A. Wilson. He wasn't in Easy Company (I think it was Dog Company). Bill told me one story when he was wounded in action. A German soldier tried to sneak into his foxhole and then it was hand to hand fighting with his bayonet. Needless to say, Bill lived. Bill passed away in 2014 while visiting relatives in New York. He’s buried in Milford, DE.
