Thanks for sharing a flaming image and an intriguing article LTC (Join to see).
To be honest I hope that those who strongly advocate disrespect to the Flag and the national Anthem will see their support drop significantly and their assets will be depleted.

That is why I'm pushing this narrative. Well I was at Fort Lewis in 2009 at Madigan Army Medical Center, the shuttle driver thank me for the Canadian Football League being there during the last NFL strike. His day off was always to watch football and he didn't know about the Canadian football league and thank me so much for its existence. Here I live in Canada and I'm 15 minutes away from the Edmonton Eskimos Stadium. Some people rallypoint made out of consider the Canadian Football League while a few of you have said yes they knew it existed. We need to think of outside the box and Canada is the biggest trading partner for 32 of the 50 states and Canada has 200 special forces in Northern Iraq helping clean up the last pockets of Isis and training the Iraq military in preparation for the siege of hawija and Isis stronghold made up of retired Iraqi military and intelligence people. So for any of you who say by American, we need to make an exception because the NFL is me me me me me right now not into being in service of standing up for the national anthem. It is our right to change our giving so some will say we are being an American to do this but who started it first going down on one knee? Copernican the other idiots did. No mercy, no quarter to the NFL!https://youtu.be/YBY_p8m-tok

I couldn't unbundle so I dropped all my cable TV coverage. I'll live with what I can get on a Roku and with a ... dare I say it ... antenna. Taking a knee or standing with arms linked ... same thing to me. Disrespectful of our flag that represents our country's ideals. Where we're not living up to them, it is fair to publicize it and work to fix it ... but don't disrespect the symbols of those ideals ... or you lose me.

LTC (Join to see) - I use a Mitaki-Japan Digital TV Active DVS-T Indoor Antenna. I don't need a digital conversion box now that I have dumped the cable TV service. Reception is rather limited since we are not near a large metro area. The Roku is a streaming media player. It takes content from the internet and streams it to a TV. I think Apple and Amazon, as well as others, have similar devices though I haven't seen/used them. Roku is both the product name and the corporation name. Roku provides access to quite a bit of free content ... YouTube, Viki, and others ... as well as paid content (ie - you establish your paid account with a provider, then access it via the Roku) such as NETFLIX, Amazon, etc. Direct TV has recently become available via the Roku ... in a number of channel packages starting at $35. I'm currently looking at that as a replacement for the cable TV I dropped. The Roku can be hard wired to a router ... or operate wirelessly as nodes on a home wireless network. I have 3 of them ... on TVs in different parts of the house. Don't need digital conversion boxes for them either.

LTC (Join to see) - that sounds like a great idea! Do you have access to CBC News and the Canadian Football League? I think the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation would be playing some of those CFL games. I don't think any football is Pay-per-view but I'm not sure if you have to get them on ESPN? I actually don't follow professional sports much because I work so much and because I only watch playoffs or Super Bowl. When I heard about copernican the other idiots lately then I started going on a quest to burn the NFL. I'm glad you and others are doing it on your own and you are the actual fans who the advertisers try to sell stuff too. Thanks for explanation awesome!

MAJ Stephen Conway - As an aside since you seem interested, with some trepidation, a year ago I dumped my cable company's VOIP telephone service and went with an Ooma box. It also works over the internet (VOIP) but after buying the box (I bought a refurb) all you pay monthly are taxes/fees. Where I am, that's about $6 a month. I've had that over a year now and have been quite pleased with it. In short, now that I've dropped the cable TV, I've trimmed my over $200 per month cable bill down to about $65 ... and it would be even lower than that except I used some of the savings to uptick my internet service. If I do get the basic Direct TV package, that will run me an additional $35 per month paid to Direct TV, not the cable company.

LTC (Join to see) - I've never looked into accessing CBC News or the CFL. If I subscribed to their content and if their content is available across the internet, I could then mirror what was on my computer screen through one of the Rokus, to a TV screen. It takes another application to do that though.

1stSgt Nelson Kerr is only reporting part of the facts. The article reported that it was up from last year. What he failed to mention was last year MNF was running against a Presidential Debate and was the lowest rating in 10 years which brought the weekend rating down. Based on an average for Week 3 it was down again.

Thank you for putting it in a full context. I thank you all for helping me learn more about this. We are not easily deterred from pursuing what we believe is right. I don't think we're going to drift off and fade away like General MacArthur used to say at his last speech to West Point. I think this is going to be growing on people's minds and they will find out that it's not stereotypical people that the left is going to say likes the national anthem. It is a silent majority that has been awakened by this poor Sportsman like conduct.

Immediate impact. Dallas Cowboy DezBryant announced the entire team will be standing on the sideline, hand over heart, silently. Makes you wonder if it might be because Nike said take our products off. Hmmm. Interesting development. I would like to think they made their point now it is back to where it should be.
