That would have been VooDoo in the last century. Now, nothing is left to logic and common sense. Katy, bar the door on the imagination of scientists in every field today!!! And more power to them.

As you've all probably realized by now, I don't deal in science-fiction generalities...I deal in scientific specifics...this is NOT science fiction to me...I would just wish to God somebody, somewhere, somehow, in some way, would see this on here, and just for God's sake let me help contribute seriously to the science of this, instead of just dreaming of it all day, guys, honest...this is specifically what I trained to do, guys, my whole life...if any of you have any ideas of how I could be so allowed, I'd wish to God to hear them, honest...I've tried to be allowed to help with such research for 44 yrs, guys...I've watched so many others get the chance, so many times now, I've lost count...I'm glad the piece got sent in, truly, I am, I just sit here dreaming of helping, and winding up being blocked, stymied, frustrated, thwarted, and obstructed, at virtually every turn, everytime I've tried, asked, pleaded, and begged to be allowed to help...I've offered to help at VA hospitals, public hospitals, med schools, God knows, you name it, and every single time I've asked, I've basically been told to go fly a kite, honest, guys...I've waited 44 yrs, guys...44 yrs, ever since I put my hand up to be allowed to do work like this...I imagine it's likely really hard for all of you to appreciate what that's like, I suppose...I trained explicitly to do wound care, regenerative medicine, prosthetics, orthotics, all the stuff that pertains to this...I've dreamed of it, hoped for it, prayed for it, and gotten just about precisely nowhere, for all my trouble...so, if any of you have a clue how 11 yrs of serious engineering, six earned degrees in the hard and biosciences, seven yrs of residency of which I finished six, and two inactive licenses, might possibly be of use to anybody doing stuff like this, I'm all ears, guys, for real, honest...we're trying to put me in next week, with any luck, for unpaid VA voc rehab to ask explicitly to help volunteer with such research...so, if any of you have clue one beyond that, my wife and I would really be most obliged to know, guys, as I'd said, OK?

I helped treat some 10000 patients guys, incl a year of UNPAID (or minimally paid) VA allied-health residency...I trained at 10 different teaching hospitals in three different states, I helped assist with some 200-300 surgeries in all...God knows, I've tried guys, ya think?

I don't mean to sound so blue about it, guys, honest...it's just that after 44 yrs of consistent heartache trying, one just tends to wish to just get at least one for-real chance to be involved in such science...trust me, I've tried a long, long time, as I'd said, my wife and I will keep trying...I just thought to explain all that, to just illustrate that (a) It's very much for real (b) I really did train to actually do it, even if just in part, and (c) I'd give my eyeteeth to actually be allowed to help with it, ya know?

And the sun still shines, the world revolves, the sky is still blue, continents aren't toppling into the sea yet, I just figured I'd add that as well, OK?
