Sgt Kelli Mays unfortunately this is just the tip of the iceberg. The next couple weeks I expect lots of problems to arise.

Sir it was a chemical plant in Crosby Texas and there was only one explosion. The generators were not able to keep the ammonia cool enough and it exploded. One police office was treated for inhaling the fumes but he will be fine. They are letting fire burn itself out instead of endangering anyone else from this.
People were cleared out of the area because they had enough of a notice that this was going to happen.

They were talking about the pending explosion on the news and this was the best article I could find on the event. Thank you for the clarification. Hope all are well in the area.

LTC (Join to see) - no worries Sir. The news and stuff can be misleading at times like this. I am just glad that no one was truly hurt during that mess. It's just another thing that we are dealing with as Crosby is like a small sister city to Houston.
It's has gotten to the point I can no longer watch the news because it's too much for me to bare. My anxiety levels are at an all time high with all of this.
We are still searching for a missing family of 6. It was 2 grandparents and 4 kids. The uncle was able to escape out of his seatbelt and window and after that the flood waters took the van away. He heard them screaming for help.
It's a total nightmare down here. Animal rescue group are struggling to get their animals out. It's very heartbreaking. Now PETA and some other group is here trying "rescue" animals when they actually kill them once they get them.
