Becoming an idiot: The unfortunate side effect of reading the Huffington Post.
I actually found almost the opposite to be true when I was in. It as the first time many people might have encountered folks from other races/ethnicities etc. I found that we all got along pretty well to the point we poked fun at each other and would go out in town together. We roomed together or were in open squad bays together. We learned in boot camp we were all green. Light green and dark green but all green. Was it always perfect, no but that was a two way street.
This is another swipe by the left at the armed forces. They want to marginalize them because they have never liked the military.

Completely agree. We who have served know there is no better place, no better organization where a man or woman's worth is judged by their character and contribution to the mission. This HuffPo article is a disgusting lie.

Col Joseph Lenertz - what really frosts my 4th point of contact is that they published this bovine excrement and that people will actually believe this.

LTC Orlando Illi - Yes, they are impugning the men and women who make up the most trusted part of the entire federal government. HuffPo needs to be reminded the public trusts us for good reason. Gives me the beak too.

Another piece of Journalistic Excellence from that bastion of Liberal Propaganda and bovine excrement the Huffington Post. I can find no evidence that this alleged expert on Combat Stress ever enlisted in anything. Just another example of why I have such disdain for Liberals. I will refrain from stating anything further other than to say I wish the author would say this to my face.
